Meet The Team

Jared, the second oldest, was the first to join his dad in the business, helping with bat exclusions during the summer of 1998. As our customer base grew, it opened up the opportunity for Jared to work full-time with his dad a year later. Since then, he has become an industry-leading expert in Bat control. He also now oversees the overall functionality of the company. While he is expert in all aspects of the pest control industry, he loves staying close to his roots in Bat control by going out on service calls for these pesky critters as much as possible. He has known his wife, Alathea since they were small children attending the same church. They were married in 2004, and built a home just outside Augusta. They have 3 kids, 3 dogs, a few beef cows, and a cat. When Jared isn’t working, he enjoys camping with his family, playing guitar and singing, internet gaming, hunting, and gold prospecting.

Shane, the oldest, started working with his dad and brother in 2005. He quickly became a squirrel and raccoon trapping expert. He started out working part-time doing the wildlife trapping and helping with bat exclusions. As the business expanded, he took on more and more work in all areas of pest control, which he continues to do to this day. Shane also helps maintain all of our computers and solve technology issues. Shane is still single, and lives with Jerry to help him out when needed. When he is off the clock, he loves discovering and tinkering with new technology.

Stephen, the third oldest son, joined Prompt Action Pest Control in early 2006, after serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps. His service included a combat tour in Iraq and a combat tour in Afghanistan. By this time, Prompt Action Pest Control was growing fast, and we needed someone to focus on the eastern portion of our service area. He is based in Wausau, where he runs the operations of that branch, along with being the “financial guy” for the company. He married his wife, Amanda in 2012, and they now have 3 kids. In his spare time – which there isn’t much of with three kids-, he loves studying, internet gaming, snowboarding, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team.

Brant, the youngest of the four, joined his dad and brothers in 2008, as the company continued to grow at a faster pace than the family imagined it could. He quickly became competent in all types of pest, wildlife, and bat control. He is now the technician trainer. He loves interacting with people and solving problems. He married his wife, Hannah, in 2010. They now have 4 children and live in the country just north of Eau Claire. His hobbies include internet gaming, spending time with his kids, enjoying a relaxing soak in the hot tub.
